We are a family company involved in the Heating Plumbing and Air Conditioning business. We supply and install all types and makes of boilers for both domestic hot water and central heating systems. It is now a requirement of the latest building regulations that all domestic boilers have to be of the condensing type. These give a more efficient use of energy than previous types. For example a modern condensing boiler has an efficiency rating of up to 92% which means only 8% of the heat generated is lost to atmosphere as opposed to about 40% in older units.

Heat pumps systems are one of the most efficient forms of heating AND cooling around today giving an efficiency of up to 400%. This loosely translated means for every 1KW of energy used you can get up to 4KW of heat output, making them ideal for under floor heating systems which run at much lower temperatures for the same feeling of comfort. Reduces fuel bills and co2 emissions.
There are various types of heat pumps available of which include, air to air units, air to water units, ground source units etc, Heat pumps are also also ideal for the temperature control of swimming pools. We have installed a number of these units for one of our main customers, where they are used for the heating of animal and reptile enclosures and large aquariums. Due to the use of this technology it is having a direct effect on their electricity costs and reducing it by some 20% [and we all want some of that!]
